KIRBY TRIPLE DELUXE Company: Nintendo Release: May 2, 2014 ESRB: E Kirby is back, this time on the 3DS. Like in previous installments of the Kirby series, he can inhale enemies and get their powers. The new going between foreground and background is reminiscent of Virtual Boy Wario Land. And the new super power Kirby gets sometimes is cool, it's like a mega power up that lets him inhale just about anything, including giant blocks to exhale on enemies. And Kirby does look quite rainbow-y when he has this power. Also another change is to unlock new levels, you have to get stars, which, as you might have guessed, are placed like the ones in Super Mario 3D World for the Wii-U, a game I can't get past world 4 because I only have 41 stars and I need 50. But I got to level 2 in Kirby Triple Deluxe and it took about an hour of playing time. Sometimes there's things you don't know what to do and you just have to try everything to find out how to get further along in the level, which can be frustrating at times. And the mini-boss idea is back. Like in Kirby's NES adventure, before you can go along, you have to beat an mini-boss which is blocking your way further. These are annoying, too. But anyway, if you like Kirby games, you'll definitely want to get this one. While it offers more of the same, it also delivers new stuff as well. rating: 7/10
