PINBALL HALL OF FAME: WILLIAMS COLLECTION Company: Crave Release: September 6, 2011 ESRB: E 10+(Animated Blood, Suggestive Themes) November 12, 2011 This game has Pin-Bot. I played the hell out of Pin-Bot on the NES when I was a kid. I didn't really understand what the game was saying (speech samples on the NES, you know. When the game started, I always thought he said "I am the master, that's the day of week.") Oh well. Anyway, after playing Pin-Bot, I played a little bit of Fun House. That's when I realized the game is fun. To shoot the ball, you go down and release the joystick. Flippers are the shoulder L and R buttons. This is a real cool game. OK, maybe not that cool if you don't care about pinball video games. But there are a few minor issues: #1 - the high score saving thing. As we have seen with other recent pinball games, it should save YOUR high score, not some idiot pinball wizard's with fake initials! (The Virtual Boy's "Galactic Pinball" is the worst offender, setting high scores of millions of points.) #2 - the fact that there are only 7 tables. But those 7 are better than a few other pinball video games. This is my second-favorite pinball video game (the first being Pinball Jam for the Atari Lynx.) and whenever I'm in the mood for pinball, I'll look here. Rating: 8/10
