August 1, 2010: All three bongo games now in our store!
Yes, it's true. Browse the store and see what's in store.
July 30, 2010: Nothing New
I have been trying to locate a manual for Donkey Konga and Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat to scan, but to no avail. This site is still on my mind, though, and once I have some more stuff to add, I will add it.
June 15, 2010: Added Merchandise page
I got a few things in the mail today so I thought I'd share them with you.
June 8, 2010: Added Scan page
I brought the Scans page back because I needed a place to store non-specific-game-related stuff. Enjoy!
June 1, 2010: Hey, guess what?
I've got yet another article scanned for you. This time it's a preview of Jungle Beat. Apparently, the people at NP went ape over this game, there's a total of three articles (I've found so far.)
May 31, 2010: Another article scan
Added a 6-page article of Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat to the archives. I've also got rid of the instruction manual page because I'm going to put the instruction manuals in their respective game pages.
May 30, 2010: Instruction Manual page added
I've added an Instruction manual page where you can right now download the Donkey Konga 2 instruction booklet. More will be coming as I get them (whenever that is...)
April 28, 2010: New Game Pages
Moved the scans to the new Game Pages. The three game pages have info (as well as scans) about the games.
April 24, 2010: Store Now Open
Want to get in on this? Check out the store at the top of the page.
April 23, 2010: Donkey Konga 2
It's official: You don't have to have a pair of DK Bongos to play Donkey Konga 2 (although it is more fun that way.) According to the instruction manual, L, R, or Z is clap, Control stick or pad is left drum, and A is right drum. Also, if I'm lucky, I might start a Bongo Store if I can get my hands on a cheap pair of bongos or something. More on that later.
April 17, 2010: More Scans!
Amos sent me two more scans: reviews of Donkey Konga and Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat in Game Informer magazine. You can check them out in the scans section. I've made it its own section because it was growing so much. I hope to have more sections in the future, like a page for instruction manual downloads, etc.
April 15, 2010: News Update
Amos Bieler sent in a scan of a preview of Donkey Konga in Game Pro magazine. Thanks! Also, I've just won Donkey Konga 2 on eBay, so hopefully I can get a full Donkey Konga 2 instruction manual scan up late next week sometime. Remember, if you have something to contribute, please e-mail me with the link at the bottom there.
April 14, 2010: Lucky me
I found one of the few Game Informer issues I had, and guess what? There's a Donkey Konga 2 review in it! So I scanned it and added it.
April 12, 2010: Added one more scan
Get the NP crew's take on the bongos from E3 2004. I'd really like some reviews of the bongo games from magazines OTHER than Nintendo Power.
April 3, 2010: Added the logo
It's not what I envisioned, but it's better than nothing.
April 3, 2010: Added Donkey Konga 2
I knew about the game, honest, I didn't have the NP article to go along with it, that is, until now. It's only a 2-pager.
April 2, 2010: Site started.
Yay! Donkey Konga and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat NP article scans added, too.
