to get a strike, aim for either the #2 or 3 pin dead on. If you're lucky, you'll get a strike. Same goes for if you get a spare and have a diagonal line of 4 pins left. If you have a 7-10 split, aim for the ball one pixel right of the pin on the right side or one pixel left of the pin on the left side. The machine will make it so the pin slams into the other pin all the way across the screen. Don't end up in the gutter, though.
