We have a new channel: KLOR is now channel 12. But with stuff like "Big Game Hunt" and "Ozark Jubilee," is it worth watching? I don't think I'd watch channel 27 at 11am, though.
Nowadays we have Oscar parties where we gather around the TV like during the Super Bowl. But apparently the Academy Awards were held later in the year. Notice the old DuMont ad in the lower right hand corner. Not the channel, but the TV.

Channel 27 had news at midnight. That's interesting. Could Jimmy Junior say "Nevermore?" And too bad COPS-TV is closed circuit.
